Use the following scenario to record a role played conversation with a new staff member the recording is best saved as an mp4 or ma4 and uploaded as a separate file to your report document. This role play uses the referral letter created above.

Scenario: Mrs Jamie Smyth has come in to collect her referral letter that was written the other day to see Dr Alex Juergensen Endocrinologist.  She is wanting to know what some of the medical words are in the letter. She is very on to it and likes to know what is going on.

Go through the letter with her and identify the case history items, the medications and the test results.

She has trouble with pronouncing a couple of the terms and you need to clarify how to say them in the conversation.
