You are caring for a 65 year old female who presents to your hospital with dyspnea, and confusion. She reports excessive fatigue, dizziness, and weakness. Your assessment findings reveal bilateral crackles heard on auscultation, presence of S3 gallop, cool extremities, and weak peripheral pulses. The client has a history hypertension, MI, and has had difficulty adhering to her plan of weight management and antihypertensive therapy.
